North-West Donegal is packed with things to do. The Dunlewey Lakeside Centre caters for family activities for all ages. The activities available are as varied as the rouged landscape. The Atlantic Ocean is on our doorstep and offers activities such as surfing, kayaking, sea-angling, whale and dolphin watching and island hopping to places such as the historic Tory Island. Inland you can go horse-riding in one of the many riding schools and hill-walking and trekking has become really popular in recent times due to the vast array of routes for adventurers of all abillites. Donegal is famous as a high quality golfing destination with both links and parkland courses nearby. Donegal offers many Art Galleries and The Dunlewey Theatre also exhibits Art regularly throughout the year. The local pubs often host lively ‘trad’ or traditional music sessions and plenty of craic.
